A VIRTUAL GALLERY BUILT DURING COVID EXPLORING AN ALTERNATE EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE

In collaboration with The Spaceless Gallery and Gundooee, we were commissioned to create a virtual gallery for a show featuring Aboriginal Artists from Australia. In the peak of covid, we were attempting to create a gallery that people could visit online. 

We wanted to create a virtual gallery that could allow viewers to immerse themselves in the culture of Aboriginal artists and would also allow the artworks to be "brought home" through the virtual display. The show aims to feature the important works of Aboriginal artists, where their art is a deep representation of their stories and dreams.

The setting of a desert is both a literal representation of their indigenous home as well as a symbol of uncovering their art amongst the sand dunes.
