REFLECTIONS

AN INSTALLATION MADE OF REFLECTIVE SURFACES AND FOG BUBBLES TO IGNITE CHEER AND GLEE DURING THE FESTIVE SEASON

Prompted with the task to create a daily moment of magic, we delved into what could be a more artistic way to package a bubble show that would more accurately reflect the creative characteristic of New Bahru.

We decided to create an art installation that would hold a hidden surprise for guests at sunset. Two anchoring columns made up of gradient colours and the iconic "N" logo of New Bahru make the main installation.

 

As sunset begins, a soft glow of light appears and fog bubbles are slowly released from the columns. Children are left screaming in glee and adults are given a moment to be kids again resulting in a multi-generational moment of play and enjoyment.
